The Vision Research Phantom v640 camera offers a 4-megapixel (2560x1600) CMOS sensor and throughput of greater than 6 gigapixels per second, which results in more than 1,500 full-resolution frames per second and 1920x1080 HD-resolution frame rates of more than 2,800 fps.
The Phantom v640 features Vision Research's dual HD-SDI video out: the camera's two HD-SDI ports can be used together for 4:4:4 video out or used independently at 4:2:2. A video-out port on the camera allows users to connect to a component video monitor.
