Editware is highlighting its Fastrack hybrid editing system at the NAB Show. It's also showing the LE-2000 Editor and MediaDB.
The Fastrack is a timeline-based controller/hybrid editing system with control of up to 16 devices via RS-422 and up to 80 devices/channels via network. It is a linear/nonlinear editor designed to interface with and control disk-based video servers, with the additional benefit of being able to control VTRs, mixers, switchers, character generators and other peripheral devices.
The LE-2000 Editor is a linear-style editor with video server control capabilities. It has a dedicated control panel with Jog Knob and Sony BVE2000-style layout. The LE-2000 is available in 4-VTR plus mixer and switcher configuration, an 8-port model, and the top-of-the line 16-port, 10-VTR version with upgrade paths available for all versions.
Editware's MediaDB is an SQL-based media asset management system, which supports all major SQL implementations. It's installed as both client-server and Web-based solution. Modules include Library, Log, Transcript, proxy-media, NLE media tracking and Production Rundown creation.
