Avid is back at the NAB Show, and they came in force. They also came with a new logo and a new message: "The Customer Comes First."
"We think NAB is a leadership conference in the world," said Gary Greenfield, Avid's Chairman and CEO, "and we as a leader in audio and video are here as a single company with all five of our entities — Avid, Digidesign, M-Audio, Pinnacle Systems and Sibelius — coming together as a unified identity that is Avid."
This is all in response to their customers' input.
"Our customers have asked for our products to work better together and to work better with other peoples' products," Greenfield said, "so we are dedicated to interoperability and openness."
"Avid is back at NAB with compelling strategies," said Kirk Arnold, Executive Vice President Customer Operations. "Service to our customers and confidence in our ability to deliver value is very much our theme here."
