In its first year at the NAB Show, DSMB Technology used its press conference Monday afternoon to showcase innovative products it represents in the United States, including equipment manufactured by BAL Broadcast, Bel Digital Audio and Faraday Technologies.

"We pride ourselves and the lines we represent in being able to customize solutions for customers facing a particular challenge," said DSMB Executive Vice President of Sales David Johnson.

A featured product from BAL Broadcast is the FLOORMAN system, which provides a wireless quad-split feed to a handheld monitor. In addition to broadcast production use, the company is seeing interest from sporting event officials wanting a quick way to view replays and from law enforcement.

Faraday Technologies DSMB is showing a full line of filters, delay lines, cable clones and open board signal converter products.

BAL Broadcast and Faraday were both acquired by the Claratech Group in November 2008.

A pair of monitoring devices from Bel Digital Audio are being spotlighted. The BM-AV2-E8SHD is a high-quality video and audio monitor for HD/SD video and multichannel audio sources. The BM-AV2-E8SHD can monitor both discrete HD/SD multichannel audio and decode Dolby E/Dolby Digital sources.
